NMDC reports 20% higher net profits in H1-25 backed by expansion in MENA

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher:The net profits of National Marine Dredging Company (NMDC) hiked by 20% year-on-year (YoY) to AED 1.75 billion in the first half (H1) of 2025 from AED 1.46 billion.

Revenue from contracts with customers increased by 10% to AED 13.37 billion as of 30 June 2025 from AED 12.12 billion in the same period a year ago, according to the financial results.

The positive performance was backed by an expanding geographical footprint and capitalizing on the infrastructure development in the MENA region.

Diluted and basic earnings per share (EPS) climbed to AED 1.92 in the first six months (6M) of 2025 from AED 1.77 in H1-24.

Financials for Q2-25

In the second quarter (Q2) of 2025, the net profits of NMDC hit AED 970.66 million, versus AED 820.21 million in Q2-24.

The revenue from contracts with customers surged to AED 7.14 billion in Q2-25 from AED 6.78 billion in Q2-24.

Meanwhile, the diluted and basic EPS reached AED 1.05 during the April-June 2025 period, up from AED 0.99 in Q2-24.

Mohamed Thani Al Rumaithi, Chairman of NMDC Group, said: “Beyond financial growth, we are expanding the country’s industrial base and strengthening our position as a trusted platform for global investment and sustainable growth.”

At the end of March 2025, NMDC recorded 22% higher net profit at AED 784 million, compared to AED 641 million in Q1-24.
